This Animal Matching Game can be fun to learn and this pack is a 2-in-1 game that can be used as a memory game or a way to revise and learn the different names of Animals.

This memory game is perfect for children of all ages, with the first game simply matching the picture of animals together. Then the second game matching the picture of an animal with the written animal name.

How to use:

• Print the PDF
• Cut up the squares and have them all placed down.
• Children turn two animals over, if they match, they pick up the squares to keep, if they don’t, the squares get turned back over.
• Children play this in pairs or small groups and the winner is whoever has the most squares.

More advanced version:

This game has the same rules as above, but this time, children match up the animal with the written name of the animal. The child with the most correct paired cards wins.
