This resource, “Alphabet Symbols A–Z for EYFS, KS1 & SEND,” is designed to support early phonics, reading, writing, and communication through the use of Boardmaker licensed symbols.
Each letter of the alphabet is represented by everyday symbol images (e.g. bird, pram, robot), helping children connect sounds to familiar objects.
The pack includes:
A set of small A–Z black and white cards with upper- and lower-case letters to colour, cut and order alphabetically.
The same symbols in colour, to cut, order and match.
A complete alphabet chart showing upper and lower case letters for reference, display and to match pictures and words to;
A word list to match symbols and sounds with printed words;
A blank activity grid for children to draw, write, or paste into.
