I am the lead teacher for A Level Film within my academy, and have personally curated this document as the perfect exam preparation piece for my own classes.

This is the perfect document to prepare your class for Paper 2, Section A, Global Cinema.

This is the perfect resource to help your class prepare for their exams.
Within you will find:

Initially the booklet will begin with the key information your students need to know, taking the broad spectrum of knowledge that is required and funnelling it into some incredibly helpful revision notes.

Then, students will be guided through a few key tasks to summarise and understand the films, such as trajectory, and exploring key themes/ideas.

3 sequences for each film have been then been identified, specifically linked to each other (6 in total), which will guide your students through analysing them.

They will make initial notes on the sequence

Identify 9 key techniques they will focus on for their exam question

They will then create a reverse storyboard to embed these into their long term memory.

They will then repeat these steps for the corresponding film

Then they will be asked to plan an essay using an essay planning sheet

They will be guided through writing an introduction

Finally they will write their analysis

These steps are repeated three times in total, ensuring that your students know everything they could possibly need heading into their final exams.

The booklet then ends on the previous exam questions from the last 6 years.
