Child on Child Abuse - KS2/3 Assembly, Lesson, Staff and Pupil Statements.

(0)
A whole school assembly for KS2 and KS3 that explains in child friendly language what is meant by ‘Child on Child’ abuse, to raise awareness of the different forms it takes and to let children know what to do if it happens to them. There is also a lesson on child on child abuse if you would like to teach this in more detail. The staff statement can be used in a staff briefing or email to ensure that staff understand what the term means, The pupil statement can be shared with children (KS2 and 3) and discussed in class. All documents can be personalised to your school and shared on your website. The approach was praised by OFSTED in our 2023/4 inspection. All documents are fully editable.

How We Keep You Safe in School (Pre-Ofsted Assembly for KS1 and 2)

A Primary school assembly, written and delivered to our school as we waited for the Ofsted call! This really helped children to understand how we keep them safe, including lots of ways that they are less likely to know about. This really improved the pupil response in both our in-school pupil survey and for Ofsted when they eventually called in November 2023. We were graded good in all areas. Fully editable.

Primary School SEF (Self Evaluation) 'EXEMPLARY' Ofsted 2023 30 pages

This is a SEF that I have written over time about our school. It is highly detailed - 29 pages and 20,000 words. This will save you hours of work, it is fully editable, in word and can be cut and paste. Nothing like this existed when I started the journey, and it would have been so helpful to have seen what other schools write. It covers all Ofsted areas, including actions since last inspection. Our school received GOOD in Autumn 2023 (Section 5 inspection) and my self was called ‘EXEMPLARY’ by my MAT and by our HMI inspector.

This is a full week of detailed planning , based around King Richard the third, and the discovery of his body in Leicester. The final lesson also uses Michael Morpurgo’s Story linking the Leicester cup win to Richard! On the planning, there is a link to a fully adaptable Prezi presentation which accompanies the planning. Linked to my other Wars of the Roses resources and planning, as they were taught as part of a cross curricular topic (the plan also stands alone though) Tes paid licence
