In Week 4, pupils will focus on oral storytelling by retelling the story of Yokki and the Parno Gry. Through structured activities, they will practise sequencing events, using descriptive language to bring the settings to life, and incorporating key story details. Emphasis will be placed on vivid descriptions of settings, inspired by the original text, to build their storytelling confidence. Pupils will then use these skills to collaboratively create and share their own imaginative retellings. Adaptive support is included to ensure all pupils can fully participate and succeed.
