Primary PSHE - Year 4 - Respectful Behaviour Scheme of Work
This 2-week scheme of work is taken from the EC Publishing Primary PSHE scheme.
Our curriculum builds progressively, leading to this Year 4 unit on Respectful Behaviour. This unit builds on prior learning, helping students understand how kindness, inclusion, and respect support positive relationships and communities. In Year 1, we explored small acts of kindness through Be Kind by Pat Zeitlow Miller. In Year 2, we learned how kindness can spread through Kindness Grows. We also explored unkind words, the importance of including others, and had an introduction to bullying with One by Kathryn Otoshi. In Year 4, we build on our understanding of prejudice, discrimination, and stereotypes from the previous unit, as we explore different types of bullying, including those involving hateful comments about identity. We will also learn how to prevent bullying and reflect on the impact of our words and behaviour on others.
You can find the bundle here: Year 4 - Respectful Behaviour Bundle
The unit includes the following lessons:
1. Preventing Bullying
2. Hurtful behaviour
