Celebrate Women’s Day with worksheet that introduces students to inspiring women from history—many of whom are not widely known.

This resource includes discussion questions to spark meaningful conversations, key vocabulary related to the role of these women and some gender-neutral term used these days, a comprehension task based on Dame Stephanie Shirley’s TED Talk, and a listening activity with a podcast about Sara Little Turnbull scientist.

You can use this four-pages worksheet as a lesson plan and just guide the student through the different tasks or you can assign the whole worksheet or parts of it as an independent activity or homework.
