This workbook supports WJEC Entry Pathways Unit 6125/E2 – Planning a Journey and has been fully updated to respond to WJEC moderator feedback. Learners are guided through planning a journey while considering different transport options, personal and road safety, and cost.

Activities include practical route planning, journey logging, safety checks, cost calculations, and a creative poster task where learners explain to a young child how to plan a journey. The poster encourages them to include a map, transport choices, safety tips, and cost information, reinforcing learning and providing clear assessment evidence.

A companion Entry 3 version (6125/E3) extends the activities to support learners in demonstrating they can undertake a variety of journeys, use appropriate routes, and select suitable methods of transport.

Both workbooks give 1 credit towards the WJEC Independent Living qualification and Preparing for Work, making them ideal for supporting practical skills alongside assessment.

These resources help learners build confidence, reflect on their journeys, and produce evidence for assessment in an engaging and accessible way.
