
Trimino is a modified version of dominoes, where instead of rectangular pieces, the puzzle consists of triangular ones. This resource contains 60 unique sets of trimino math games on the topic of addition and subtraction of fractions:
- 30 trimino in a triangle shape with 9 pieces
- 30 trimino in a star shape with 12 pieces
- black-and-white versions of all 60 trimino sets for ink saving
- answer key for all trimino sets

How to Use the Resource
Activity for part of a lesson, review, or homework.
Instructions for Working with the Resource
Print the pages in A4 or A3 size (Letter or Tabloid). Each student or group of students receives a sheet with one type of trimino, which they cut into individual pieces, shuffle, and then assemble into a star or triangle shape. The number of available trimino sets allows you to:
- give each student the same trimino and repeat the activity in a different lesson
- give each student a different trimino
- give groups the same or different trimino sets
