This EYFS Fine Motor Skills (Ages 2–5) resource is designed to support the development of early fine motor control while reinforcing children’s understanding of primary and secondary colours.

It includes a range of hands-on, play-based activities that strengthen hand muscles, improve pincer grasp, and support pre-writing skills, all while engaging children in fun colour recognition tasks.

The resource directly supports the EYFS Physical Development (Fine Motor Skills) learning goal, with cross-curricular links to Expressive Arts and Design and Communication and Language. Activities can be easily adapted for both younger learners (2–3 years) and older preschool children (4–5 years), making it a flexible tool for any early years setting.

Ideal for use in nurseries, preschools, and Reception classrooms, this resource helps practitioners deliver practical, skill-based learning in a way that is interactive, engaging, and aligned with the EYFS framework.
