The Bookseller synopsis:
William Buggage, a London bookseller, and his assistant Miss Tottle, run a peculiar and unethical business. They swindle wealthy widows by sending fake invoices for obscene and erotic books supposedly purchased by their deceased husbands, hoping to shame them into paying to avoid scandal. This scheme works until one widow and her son throw a curve call that Buggage and Tottle never expected to encounter. What could it be? Find out The Bookseller Readers’ Theatre Unit!

Mr. Marvel’s Musings:
This story is intended for a mature audience. Buggage lists the books that the widows husbands supposedly purchased. The titles involve cheeky references to hanky panky. I read this story with my adult class and the titles had them laughing. Viewer discretion is advised.

I hope you, and your students enjoy reading The Bookseller and continue to do so for many years.
Excelsior!
