I wrote this for those pupils who have difficulty with the traditional methods of solving linear equations, and it has gone down rather well so far.
I found that some pupils didn't even need to use a set of algebra tiles. They were happy to simply visualise what was happening in the PowerPoint presentation whilst solving their equations.
I hope it works for you.

Really good ppt and makes it easier to teach without the manipulatives during this "COVID restrictions" era.
Thank you!

Excellent Solving Equations with Algebra Tiles powerpoint which can serve as intro on how to use tiles to solve equations or simplify algebraic expressions.
One suggestion for improvement- eg if you have 3x=6 left
it would be nice if you could show with the tiles how you seperate the 3x tiles into 3 groups and do the same on the other side with the 6, so 3 groups of 2. Otherwise excellent visuals
