Christmas 2D Shape Grid Activity
Designed to support a festive 2D shape lesson.
Create a reindeer face using cut-out 2D shapes:
Brown paper for the face and antlers
Red paper for the nose
White paper for the eyes
Use black pen to add pupils
Pupils construct their reindeer using a variety of 2D shapes
After building, pupils complete a grid to:
Identify each 2D shape used
Record the number of sides and vertices for each shape
A fun, hands-on way to reinforce 2D shape recognition and properties during the Christmas season
