Pre-Key Stage 2 Standards – Mathematics
This document provides a nationally recognised assessment framework for pupils who are working below the standard of the Key Stage 2 tests in mathematics. It is used as formal evidence to demonstrate that a child is not yet working at the level required to access the statutory end-of-Key Stage 2 assessments.

In Year 6, this document supports teacher judgement for pupils who are significantly below age-related expectations, ensuring their progress and attainment are recognised in a meaningful, developmentally appropriate way.
