A collection of lessons to cover all of Paper 1: The crusades, c.1095-1204 to be used in combination with the Hodder Textbook (ISBN: 1447985281). Units 1-4 are each then broken down into 3 individual lessons with Unit 5 broken into 4 lessons to cover the four factors to blame for the failure of the Fourth Crusade.

Lessons include the following:

• Exam questions with sources, extracts, additional videos, etc.
• Guidance on how to structure exam questions, e.g. essay 20M and extracts 20M.
• Model answers to exam questions, e.g. essay 20M and extracts 20M.
• Activities for students to complete throughout the lesson, often with these completed for the teacher to refer to also.
• Any additional worksheets mentioned within the PPT are also included within the folder, e.g. all sources typed up from the textbook, resources from National Archives, etc.
• Recap quizzes, with answers, to cover both knowledge retention, spelling, etc.
• Typed up notes covering each section (which can be given to students in combination with the notes/work they’ve completed or to support the teacher with delivering the lessons).

AS assessments include the following:

• Unit 1 and Unit 2: Two essays (one breadth and one depth) 20M.
• Unit 1 and Unit 2: Marking sheet with answers, feedback etc.
• Unit 3 and Unit 4: Two essays (one breadth and one depth) 20M.
• Unit 3 and 4: Marking sheet with answers, feedback, etc.

Revision worksheets include the following:

• Individual worksheets for each unit (A3, often multiple pages).
• Study guide with question prompts to aid revision for particular units and/or entire paper.
