Are you looking for a supplemental activity for your Native American unit or CKLA 3rd Grade Unit 8: Native Americans: Regions and Cultures? This activity is a great organizational tool for students to compare and contrast the cultures of the different Native American groups and to examine the settlement of North America by Native Americans. A cut-and-paste option is included for differentiation. Students will research tribes, food, shelter, clothing, and the environment for each tribal region. Simply use it as a worksheet or packet or have students cut and glue the half-sheet pages onto a file folder to be used as a creative lapbook.

Regions in this activity include:

Northwest Coast
Plateau
California
Southeast
Plains
Great Basin
Southwest
Eastern Woodlands

This activity is intended to be used as an organizational tool for a research project. Source material is not included. Students should use multiple resources to complete the activity.
