This resource would be very useful for a subject leader or a teacher.
It is a document that provides the key vocabulary for history units from Year 1 to Year 6. However it offers challenge words as well as words that are important for each unit. Significant words are colour coded in blue to show those that are repeated across the year groups to support review and reflect activities to check sticky learning. The vocabulary shows clear and evident progression year on year.

It can be used to create vocabulary displays or provide the basis for end of unit assessment. The resource sheets can be printed as a desktop resource for pupils to support writing and spelling. It will enable you to ensure that your teaching has been appropriately pitched for challenge.
