Make the history of the atom engaging by using PhET’s digital simulations to bring atomic structure to life. These resources are designed to help you conduct a class discussion employing the simulation to deepen students’ understanding, using pedagogical approaches guided by educational research.

This resource pack includes:

  1. A teacher guide with suggested activities and top tips to help you get to grips with the simulation
  2. Slides to insert into your PowerPoint including questions to consolidate students’ understanding after viewing the simulation

These resources were developed as part of an Ogden Trust Senior Teacher Fellowship in collaboration with PhET.
