A model non-chronological report text about the extinct cave bear with feature find worksheet and answers, and differentiated planning and writing templates.

The example information text is about a now-extinct animal that lived across Europe, including in the British Isles, and in some parts of Asia.

The exemplar text can be used as a WAGOLL non-chronological report to examine before pupils plan and write their own about this animal or another extinct creature, such as the dodo or the woolly mammoth, or an endangered animal, such as the mountain gorilla or red squirrel.
