Eduqas English Language Component 1 Section B which uses the game of ‘top cards’ to engage students with an extract from Frankenstein and helps to analyse how Shelley has used language to develop a description of the monster from the text. A fully differentiated and resourced lesson to prepare KS3 or KS4 students for analysing language techniques in descriptive writing. As part of the lesson students create their own game cards based on analysing language. Ideal preparation for both KS3 students and those KS4 students preparing for GCSE examinations - including Eduqas English Language Paper 1 Section B.
