This month-long Drugs & Alcohol (ATOD) Unit goes way beyond “just say no.” It’s everything you need to teach students how to make informed, responsible choices about substances, including things they’re often exposed to, like caffeine and energy drinks. Rather than scare tactics or lectures, this unit uses interactive activities that get students thinking critically about what they put in their bodies, how substances affect their health, addiction, and how to handle real-life situations with confidence and clarity.

There are station activities, simulation games, and “What’s that drug” challenges along with google slides lessons that provoke thoughtful conversation. There are also many case studies of teenagers so they can connect more to the material. It really is student-focused and will be a unit your teens will remember.

It is best for grades 9-12 / High School however upper middle schoolers could benefit as well.
