A lesson to explore the historical issues associated with the China one child policy as well as the ongoing impact that it has had upon the country. Students are then asked to plot a “living graph” looking at the emotions of those involved before evaluating the overall success of the policy.

The lesson is currently taught in Year 8 as part of our Middle East & Asia topic and is designed to be 100 minutes in length.
