Boudicca is a great individual to study as part of a history lesson due (women’s history) due to her defiance against the Roman army, when it was at one of its most powerful positions. She became known as a warrior queen in British history. This is aimed at children in KS2.
Included are;
- A timeline format version for children to show where in her life the events took place, on a timeline, showing further historical skills.
- A storyboard activity sheet with events of her life already in chronological order.
- A blank storyboard activity sheet with the events of her life is in an easy-to-cut and stick format (alternatively, they can be used as writing prompts), leaving space for illustrations.
- As a bonus, I’ve included a ‘Vocabulary for Historians’ writing mat, which aims to support students with their ability to use more historical vocabulary within their writing.
