This KS4 Writing Checklist is for the new AQA German GCSE 2026 specification to tick off what students have included in their 90/150 word writing task. There are two version, the long version is for lower students or students who are just starting out writing longer texts and might need a bit of prompting. It gives examples of what to include. The short version can be used for the higher students or students who worked with the long version and are familiar with the layout of the document. These Writing Checklists are ideal for use throughout KS4 to start preparing students for the writing part of the GCSE. It can also be used for peer review or individual written homework tasks. You could print it double sided with lines for students to write on the print out.
