This is a fun revision activity for legal professionals. It predominantly covers solicitors and barristers. It is designed for the Eduqas exam board but could be modified to suit other exam boards. There is no instruction PowerPoint but it is fairly explanatory.

Instructions

In teams students have to solve each of the rooms (you can do this in order or not as you choose). Once they have completed the room they come to you and tell you the ‘password’. You then give them a number. Once they have the full 10-digit code they ‘unlock’ the room and are the winner. I recommend prizes for the winning team.

Answers are on the final sheet.

Puzzle 4 - Quiz
Puzzle 5 - Decipher the message using the emoji code
Puzzle 6 - Solve the maze to find the hidden word
Puzzle 7 - Odd one out images
Puzzle 8 - Find the inaccuracy in the essay
Puzzle 9 - Sort into PCP paragraphs (Point, Counter-Point, Point)
Puzzle 10 - Use a ruler to match the key words & definitions. Left over letters are the code.

The only real resource students should need is pen, paper and a ruler. I recommend laminating the sheets and giving students whiteboard pens so they can write on them & reuse but this is not necessary.
