I used this worksheet with mixed ability KS1 classes, usually Year 1, when developing the ability to analyse positive and negative features of a design.
Initially this can be used to think about the straw, stick and brick houses but could equally be used to analyse more imaginative pupil designs for pig house “upgrades”.
