10 Simple Crosswords is designed for SEND and KS1 learners, using Boardmaker-licensed symbols to support understanding.
Each page contains five symbol pictures (for example, spoon, nest, tin, moon, and star) alongside a crossword to complete.
Some letters are already provided, with others left blank for children to fill in, helping to develop phonics, reading, and writing skills.
On each sheet, the five words are written underneath the puzzle to support letter formation, spelling, and phonics practice.
This resource can be used for homework or placed in writing corners and can be laminated for repeated use.
