A student is given a card and has to describe the word without using any of the three words given or the actual word.
Students can then make their own versions too as great revision too.
A set of 5 different games of thoughts and crosses that can be used as a starter, plenary and/or revision task.
This works best when students work in pairs. The task is that the students have to compete to get three in a row. Which ever way they decide to try and get three in a row the questions include a range of difficulty - there is no easy pathway!
