Core Physics Prediction Exam Paper - HIGHER - 2016
AQA Prediction papers based on previous examination questions.
There are 50 mark per paper (1 hour).
Question based on past papers but re-written for the purpose of the exam.
They are designed to get students to revise the key topics that are more likely to appear in the 2016 exam.
Paper come with mark scheme and so can be set as a class task, homework or revision task.

This task is designed for students to work backwards and reduce their notes for revision. Around the outside of the page are the key facts and information that are needed for the topic. Students need to condense these and/or find out more about these and make notes in the white space. Finally students then need to highlight the keywords and put then in the box in the centre.

The idea works that students should know the foundation building blocks around the edge of the page.
The task therefore is to work inwards and begin to summarise these key points in the middle, only focusing on the things they have forgotten.
The final task is to get this all on to a postcard - their revision notes to take away! This makes it all manageable for the student.
This is one topic only and the full unit can be downloaded as a complete file.

A great task that can be used as an assessment tool for a starter, mini-plenary or revision task.
This works best when students have pre-made cards to select answer, voting kits or white boards. Students can also complete as a quiz in the back of their books.

A set of 5 different games of thoughts and crosses that can be used as a starter, plenary and/or revision task.
This works best when students work in pairs. The task is that the students have to compete to get three in a row. Which ever way they decide to try and get three in a row the questions include a range of difficulty - there is no easy pathway!
