This resource is a PowerPoint Year 5 maths lesson based around the objective: I can count, read and write numbers up to 1,000,000 and determine the value of each digit. This particular lesson focuses on numbers up to 1,000,000. I have uploaded another lesson for numbers up to 100,000. This lesson caters for different abilities with different versions of a similar problem on most slides. This lesson is based around problem solving, verbal reasoning and deeper thinking.
