This printable feelings fan includes 24 emotions supported by clear, recognisable emojis, with each feeling written in both Ukrainian and phonetic Ukrainian. It’s a simple but powerful tool to help Ukrainian children express how they feel and communicate with others when language may be a barrier. Ideal for EAL support and SEND pupils, it encourages independence and helps reduce anxiety in unfamiliar classroom settings.

What’s included:
✔ PDF file of 24 emotions cards (in Ukrainian and phonetic Ukrainian)
✔ Visual emoji support for each feeling
✔ Printable and suitable for laminating and assembling with a split pin

How it works:
★ Pupils use the fan to select a feeling and show or communicate it to an adult or peer
★ Each emotion is paired with a familiar emoji for visual recognition
★ Phonetic Ukrainian supports pronunciation and helps English-speaking peers and staff understand the words

Why it’s useful:
✔ Supports Ukrainian EAL pupils in settling into a new classroom
✔ Helps SEND pupils communicate feelings clearly
✔ Encourages inclusive peer communication and emotional vocabulary development
✔ Easy to assemble, low-prep resource

Suggested use cases:
Suitable for KS1 and KS2 classrooms, EAL intervention sessions, morning check-ins, nurture groups, and wellbeing corners.
