A lesson taught to Y7 about surviving in the tropical rainforest. It includes:
- Ray Mears video to engage/ inspire students.
- Students to brainstorm threats they may face in the tropical rainforest.
- Students choose items they would take to the tropical rainforest, rank in importance and then explain their #1 choice.
- Students answer 7 multiple choice decision making questions and justify their answers using cause & effect phrases.
- Teacher goes through answers and students improve pone of their answers.
Please note APKs/ starter activities are specific to my school’s SOW so may need editing.
