a lovely little activity that would be great in a tuff tray or as a busy fingers activity to promote, number recognition, 1-1 correspondence and cardinality. Cut out and laminate the toadstools and provide loose parts such as counters, buttons, pom poms etc alongside them to be put onto the toadstools as spots. you could also provide some tweezers to further challenge their fine motor skills
