Fully resourced taster session for A Level History including PowerPoint and work booklet. This session has been planned for Edexcel (specifically 2G), but could easily suit other exam boards (AQA, OCR). Suitable for Year 10 or Year 11.

The focus of the session is secret intelligence in Fascist Italy. Students will work together to decide OVRA’s actions regarding five different suspects.

Lesson Objectives:
Understand the purpose, methods, and impact of OVRA (Fascist secret police).
Analyse primary-like source excerpts to assess state control.
Discuss moral dilemmas faced by those enforcing authoritarian regime.
