This lesson was taught to Y9 and lasted two lessons. It includes:
- Teacher guided section on the Rostow Model.
- Links to Hans Rosling videos on development and his GapMinder website.
- Gap fill activity on the 5 stages.
- Explanation task on the Rostow Model.
- Reading activity with table to complete linking to each stage’s infrastructure, main employers and example country.
- 8 questions based on everything that has been studied.
The APK/ Starter tasks are specific to the SOW i taught linking to previous content on the USA and Plate Tectonics so if teaching you would need to edit these tasks.
