The lessons analyse a broad range of poems: ‘Beowulf’, ‘Sonnet 130’, ‘On My First Sonne’, ‘Easter Wings’, ‘Her Mother’s Epitaph’, ‘The Tyger’, ‘The Lamb’, ‘The Way Trough the Woods’ ’, ‘The Highwayman’ and ‘Jabberwocky’. The lessons build towards an assessment on ‘The Highwayman’. The unit is intended for Years 7-9.
