Othello lesson on Desdemona and her use of language in Act 1 Scene 3, analytical paragraphs, language techniques, and also character types. We explore how Othello, Desdemona, Iago, Brabantio and Roderigo are presented to the audience and how character types like protagonists, antagonists, villains, heroes and confidantes can help influence our interpretations of the play.

We focus on Shakespeare’s use of language and how he introduces new characters to the play. Includes differentiated activities, worksheets, extensive teacher and student notes and more.
