AQA GCSE Citizenship- Topic 2- Rights & Responsibilities.
Lessons are planned to be delivered by non-specialists, they do not require any textbooks. Lessons are planned for 60 minutes unless stated in the description below. They incorporate a retrieval grid, teacher input, and a practice task that links to either direct exam questions, or practicing an exam based skill.
L19: Key International Agreements: Lesson looks at UDHR, ECHR, UNCRC, HRA, International Humanitarian Law including the Geneva & Hague Conventions via a resource and worksheet. Students then look at the role of the ICC and War Crimes. Complete an 8 marker from 2024 Exam paper, and a model answer is given for self-marking.
