This lesson is the first lesson on** functionalist theories of religion**, part of the unit on Beliefs in Society. This is an interactive lesson, with plenty of opportunities for paired/group activities. The resources are provided for additional reading on each theorist.

The following lessons are **L1. b) Marxist theory on religion, L1. c) Feminist theory on religion and L1. d) Assessments for theories **on religion are also available as individual lessons or as a discounted bundle in the shop!
