A complete, ready‑to‑teach Year 7 Food Technology course designed to make lessons engaging, practical, and simple to deliver. This 10‑lesson programme alternates 4 contextual theory lessons with 4 hands‑on practicals, finishing with 2 structured review/evaluation sessions to consolidate learning.
The practicals have been created by me to be cheap, healthy tasks that aim to improve students skills and confidence in the kitchen. Making things including Fruit Salad, Couscous, Shortbread, and Healthy banana pancakes. Each theory lesson directly links to its paired practical, with purposeful cross‑curricular tasks in numeracy, literacy, and applied maths.
