I am a Lead Prac and Deputy SENCO English specialist. One of my main remits is creating fully inclusive curriculums that support KS4 LAP, nurture and SEN students in accessing GCSE content.

This bundle includes 15 Powerpoints with accompanying worksheets, covering the Power and Conflict Cluster.

Most students with significant barriers to learning need repetition and a consistent approach. Every lesson takes the same approach, stripping back every poem and focusing on the ‘why’ rather than the ‘how’. Method should be taught after intent. Once students have a firm grasp of the ‘why’, they can move on to deeper language and technique analysis.

Each lessons takes a 1:1:1:1 approach; 1 key theme, 1 quotation, 1 technique and 1 reason it is still relevant. This makes the learning focused and supports building knowledge and confidence, without overwhelming,
