This resource is a student work booklet on the German Armistice during the First World War, including exam practice questions. Students judge the most important reason Germany lost the war, explain the reasons for and impact of America joining the conflict, and describe the key events of the Ludendorff Offensive and the German Revolution. The booklet contains structured activities to build knowledge, analysis, and exam skills. Whilst designed for Cambridge IGCSE History (Depth Study A: The First World War, 1914–18), it is also suitable for other exam boards that cover the end of the First World War. The activities link directly to the Cambridge IGCSE History Coursebook, Second Edition, which students will need to use alongside the booklet.
Learning Outcomes:
- Judge the most important reason Germany lost the First World War.
- Explain the reasons for, and impact of, America joining the First World War.
- Describe the key events of the Ludendorff Offensive and German Revolution.
