P5 Forces - Multi-Step Calculation Practice Worksheet with Answers

Prepare students for 5 and 6 mark calculation questions found in GCSE Combined Science with this practice worksheet. Each question requires the use of two equations. Through 2 Worked examples and 6 questions, the uses of multi-step process is modelled and scaffolded.

This worksheet mimics the typical style of these questions in AQA Higher papers and encourages students with showing working in a way that matches markschemes, while also facilitating a systematic approach to problem solving.

I envisage using this worksheet at the end of the topic, following the teaching of the individual equations. However the resource could easily be adapted for skills-based revision/exam practice for grade 7 to grade 9 students, or used as homework or cover work for able classes.
