A team of engineers are stationed in the forest. One of the members named Coulter has a life long fear of snakes. He was already bitten once by a moccasin and had his team cut and squeeze out the poison. Coulter’s daughter, Ruth, has joined the team. As some of the team members tease one another, Ruth cries out and they notice she has a moccasin on her. Who will react first? Will Coulter be able to stop the snake before it bites his daughter?
2-The Living Nightmare

Artie MacMillen agrees to help the Mitchell family by spending the night with their dead grandmother so that he can watch the house while they are away preparing the funeral. Artie’s friend, Jim, thinks he is crazy for agreeing to such a task. Artie enters the home and makes himself comfortable. As he prepares to sleep that evening, he begins hearing sounds and footsteps in the house. Artie tries to apply logic to every noise but he slowly realizes that he may be dealing with the supernatural. Is Grandmother Mitchell truly deceased, or does she have a renewed life in the darkness?
3-Amelia’s Wish

Amelia sees a fairy in her dream. The fairy will grant one wish, but only if the wish concerns her newborn daughter, Leonore. Amelia wishes that her daughter will grow up not being able to feel anything. No emotions. The fairy grants this wish. When Leonore is older, she is pursued by a man named Donald who professes his love for her and writes her poetry. Leonore feels nothing for him or anyone. Donald collapses in frustration and tells Leonore that she is made of stone. Leonore cannot comprehend why she feels no emotions as she observes the residents of the town. One day, Donald’s spirit visits her and tells Leonore that she has ice in her veins.

What terrible secret does Uncle Godfrey have in his home? Nephew Phil Robinson is determined to find out. Why is housekeeper Mrs. Mitchell reluctant to divulge too muc information about her boss, Uncle Godfrey? Why did his pursuits in entomolgy concern her? Godfrey’s niece, Lucy, came to live with him for a year, and then she disappeared. While reviewing his uncle’s journal, Phil finds out that his uncle was afraid to go into the cellar. As he contiunes reading, he finds his uncle’s entries to be more vague and mysterious. Phil calls upon the coroner, a detective and the police to investigate the cellar. What will they find? Vermin? Bugs? Something unknown?
