An easy-to-use question level analysis (QLA) tool for the Eduqas GCSE Music 2023 Appraising exam, perfect for meaningful analysis of student and class performance.
Once exam papers have been marked, simply add the marks awarded for each individual question into the ‘QLA’ sheet. Total marks, averages, and rank orders will automatically populate within the sheet.
An overview of the full exam paper, including grades calculated against notional grade boundaries, will also be available in the ‘Overview’ sheet.
If target grades are added, grades achieved will be coloured to highlight distance from these: purple = above target; green = on target; amber = one grade below target; red = two or more grades below target.
Once populated, you will have a detailed, visual report of student performance in the exam paper, which can then be used to:
- Gain additional insight into student and class performance
- Identify strengths and areas for improvement
- Inform curriculum planning and lesson delivery
- Plan future interventions and revision sessions
- Form the basis of student and whole-class exam feedback
