This is a classroom cover or standalone lesson for KS3 Drama, focused on understanding different kinds of stages and asking students to have a go at designing their own theatre. Complete set of slides, with instructions. It includes discussion tasks and suggestions for video clips (YouTube links are included but there are lots of alternatives you could use instead). Instructions are included for students making a set of Google slides or a Google doc; this is easily adaptable to a paper-based task or another platform. It works really well for any KS3 class, right up to Year 9. Approximate timings for each task are included on the slides.
