An editable Google slides assembly presentation for use during Autism Acceptance Month or on Autism Awareness Day.

Suitable for both KS1 and KS2 with a video to focus for each key stage.

Detailed notes for each slide included to help deliver the assembly presentation. Visuals and Wigits used to be simple and help SEND and EAL children access. Explanation of what Autism is, and focusing on the values of how we are all different. Opportunities for thinking and partner discussion as well as sharing thoughts, ideas and opinions with the assembly or group.

Please note: This is a simple overview of autism for children. It is not a complete teaching on all different areas of the Autistic spectrum. This assembly is aimed as introducing the idea to children and starting the conversation around autism in schools.
