This is a fun matching and puzzle assembling activity on area of composite figures. On the first slide there are given the 12 problems/diagrams numbered with 1a,2a,3a,4a, 1b,2b,3b,4b, 1c,2c,3c,4c. Students use the information given on each diagram to find the area of the composite figure or the area of the shaded region. On the second slide the answers of the problems are given in random order. Students have to type the number of each problem next to its answer in the empty box provided (matching). There is also a piece of a puzzle corresponding to each answer. Students are asked to copy each piece (or cut it if this product is printed), paste it and then drag and drop it into the cell of the rectangle (given on the third slide) numbered with the number of the problem having for an answer the answer to which this piece corresponds.

Answer keys are included.

*This product is created as a Google Slides product, but it is uploaded here as a Power Point presentation (this allows the product to be used as a digital drag and drop activity) and in PDF format ( so the product can be used as a printable cut and paste activity).
