Adding Squares up to 9 - is an Excel file that produces an infinite supply of worksheets. These worksheets are for early year mathematics. Various amount of squares are shown for each calculation, the student counts the total number of squares to find the answer. You can choose to show/hide the numbers in the sum - so the student has to count the number of square on each line, create the sum and then solve it. There is also a coloured version to use on an interactive whiteboard. All answers are provided. Press the new button to create new questions. (You do not need to know how to use Microsoft Excel - just press the buttons on screen and everything is done for you.) You can share these files with the hope that the recipient will donate a little also.
