Real and Online Friendships (Loneliness) Brand new content developed in line with the 2026 Statutory Guidance! This Year 4 lesson explores the differences between online and real-life friendships, and how both can affect how happy, included, or lonely we feel. Pupils will learn that online chats and games can be fun and help us stay in touch, but they cannot fully replace spending time with people in person. The lesson also covers why it’s normal to feel lonely sometimes, that not everyone will always have the friends they would like, and the importance of seeking real-life connections and support when needed.

Immigration in Britain 2025

A new Citizenship / PSHE lesson focusing on the issues surround the UK’s immigration debate. Students will assess the pros and cons of high immigration levels, how this can be beneficial to Britain in many ways, but also detrimental in others. They will look at facts, statistics and quotes from politicians and compare these to official government figures. There is also a large focus on how migrants contribute to the economy through taking on jobs the British public (and many young people) might not consider doing and whether young people should be encouraged into these roles. Students will assess why the Reform Party has become popular through focusing on immigration issues and what this means for UK politics. This is a completely non-partisan lesson, encouraging students to make up their own minds about the issue, given all the facts. Students will complete a wide range of tasks, literacy-based, creative, source-based, analysis and clip tasks. Everything is editable and easy to just pick up and use.
